Twister was too small, too weak to withstand his Son, and Claws was forced to destroy his Father. His second battlescar was earned within the dark place, as not only was Twister found, but other Totem Spirits of Packs long devoured.
Down the gullet of a giant bane, who was swallowed by a larger bane, who was swallowed by yet another, even larger bane, did he and the Corax Jerry venture to find his lost soul. Maddened, perhaps obsessed, he searched through the Realms, even into the Abyss. Not even the soothing words of Dragonfly, his Totem, and his many packmates could ease the ache. Madness had threatened to set in, and the following months found a wake of death by his claws. When (at that time) Claws of Fury left the Rite, he was muted, and his Spiritual Heritage gone. Through the grace of a Last Chance talen, the strength of the Wendigo's blood, and Gaia's own luck, he survived. He knew his soul to be wanted by the Horned Serpant, so he lead the tide of banes into a trap - into an area where a Rite had been cast that would allow no Spirit to leave. During the battle with the Whisperer - a Great Bane that haunted and hunted near the Sept of Gaia's Blessing, the then Adren Ahroun offered to be 'bait' for the minions of the Bane. The scars on his flesh from countless battles, the memories of fallen friends follow after all of Gaia's Warriors. Some whisper that is why he is so fierce - that his frustration to not be able to touch a friend or packmate has driven him slightly mad.Īs with many Garou, the Ahroun's life has not been one filled with only joy. To touch the Wendigo is to feel the cold of the Northern Lands, a hungry, burning chill which can wither a limb. Cold has seeped into every once, every pour of his body. While gifted with many amazing powers through his birth, the most notable, or at least memorable, trait of the Wendigo is his touch. Some even remember that he was made a Warclaw by the Silver King - this title is certainly not listed during any of his howls of introduction.Įvery boon has its price. Kept quiet, save for those who study the Silver Record, there are few realms that the Ahroun has not visited, fewer areas within the world. Kheton bridges the gap between flesh and spirit, there were negative rumors that the Ahroun was more Theurge than Warrior - which was typically answered violence. Yet there seems something strange in his actions, as if he is searching, or perhaps waiting. He has returned randomly to inspect the hide of the giant beast and the newly born Sept. Some even whisper tears may have fallen from his chaotic eyes when he drove his spear through the heart of the Ancient Turtle - through the Heart of Middle Brother. Along with others, he brought the cold bite of winter to the marsh, delving deep within the long deceased giant Turtle, and battle with the Alpha, and Totem of the Hive. He was also within the main strike team when Urban Renewal assaulted the Hive near their Sept. This battle marked a chance in his behavior. Through much work, the cold hearted Wendigo drained much of the Wyld Energy from his creation, as much as it pained him. Theurges rue his coming, as his touch once turned the City Father of Harrisburg into a Giant Tree, a Kami, which attempted to devour the 'scar' from the face of Gaia. His pack, who followed Twister, wrecked devastation and chaos throughout the Maryland and Virginia region, living up to their Totem's mighty words of 'there is Wisdom in Change'.

During what would be the first of many landscape changing interactions with the real world, a tree took root at the location of his conception, growing and nurturing within its branches the Fetish that would become known and distrusted as the Cyclone's Tooth.īorn under a Full Moon, Claws of Fury proved his worth in battle with a fervor befitting a child of a Natural Disaster. Even the story of his birth is filled with the chaotic touch of the Wyld, as unlike nearly all Garou, his Father was an Avatar of the Spirit Twister himself - his mother a Wendigo Wolf Kinfolk. Deed Name: Seeks to Restore the Balance/Khetonīorn, and earning the name of Claws of Fury, then Seeks to Restore the Balance, the tales of the Son of Twister are many and varied.
